Interview with Dr. Gergely Németh on Strategic Foresight at NATO ACT

July 16, 2024

On July 3rd, 2024, Dr. Gergely Németh, Head of Strategic Foresight for the NATO Allied Command Transformation (NATO ACT) visited HCSS for the very first The Hague Strategic Foresight Forum Talks, titled: ‘Navigating Tomorrow: Transatlantic Outlooks on the Future Security Landscape and its Implications for the Netherlands’. Dr. Németh was one of the speakers during the event, who presented an assessment of the ‘Security Environment in 2040’ and was kind enough to sit down with HCSS Strategic Analyst Davis Ellison for a short interview to provide additional remarks on Strategic Foresight at NATO ACT, specifically the 2023 Strategic Foresight Analysis (SFA) report.

This event was part of the Strategic Monitoring and Foresight Program that HCSS is conducting in collaboration with the Clingendael Institute at the request of the Dutch Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense. Organised by HCSS Strategic Analyst Pieter-Jan Vandoren, this event was the first of a three-part series.

HCSS Strategic Analyst Davis Ellison interviewed Dr. Gergely Németh. Watch the full interview below.
