Energiedoelen mede bepalend voor internationale conflicten

De Europese Unie moet bij het vaststellen van haar energie- en klimaatdoelen voor 2030 de gevolgen van het gebruik van olie en gas voor internationale vrede en veiligheid zwaarder laten meewegen.

Dat stelt het Den Haag Centrum voor Strategische Studies (HCSS) in een verkennend onderzoek, ‘Time to Wake UP’, dat vandaag verschijnt. De verkenning is uitgevoerd in opdracht van Greenpeace Nederland.
