Defensievisie 2035: het gevecht van de toekomst

Hoe wordt onze vrede en veiligheid bedreigd? En hoe moet Defensie daar nu en in de komende jaren op inspelen? In de Defensievisie 2035 blikt de krijgsmacht 15 jaar vooruit om zich voor te bereiden op het gevecht van de toekomst. 

Nieuwsgierig? Nog even geduld, want de Defensievisie verschijnt donderdag. Wel hebben we een klein voorproefje, waarin verschillende mensen vertellen hoe de krijgsmacht er volgens hen in de toekomst uit moet gaan zien. Naast krijgsmacht dachten ook kennisinstellingen en bedrijven mee. 

Hard nodig, vertelt dr. Tim Sweijs, directeur onderzoek bij het Den Haag Centrum voor Strategische Studies. “De veiligheid van Nederland en bondgenoten is in het geding. De Nederlandse Defensieorganisatie staat voor een grote uitdaging om Nederlandse belangen en waarden te blijven beschermen in de jaren die gaan komen.”
