Het programma van het seminar staat in het teken van Rob de Wijk zijn nieuwe boek ‘5 over 12’.

Ontkennen helpt niet meer. Politici moeten een antwoord vinden op de grote uitdagingen van deze tijd om onze welvaart en veiligheid voor ons en onze kinderen te waarborgen. Dit lijkt een onmogelijke opgave want onze democratie staat onder druk. Toch eisen de opkomst van nieuwe grootmachten als China, grondstoffenschaarste, klimaatverandering, de financiële crisis en stagnerende economische groei een krachtig antwoord.
