De Strateeg | Japan waarschuwt China over Taiwan: groeit het risico op een Aziatisch conflict?

November 24, 2025

Japan en China liggen stevig met elkaar overhoop. De nieuwe Japanse premier Takaichi heeft China gewaarschuwd dat Japan een eventuele Chinese inname van Taiwan niet zal laten gebeuren. Die boodschap zet de twee landen lijnrecht tegenover elkaar en vergroot de spanningen in de regio.

De inzet in en rond de Zuid-Chinese Zee en de Grote Oceaan is enorm, met grote militaire en strategische belangen die op het spel staan. Maar waar komt deze spanning nu vandaan en wat betekent dit voor ons? Dat ga je horen in deze aflevering van De Strateeg van:
