The Southern Africa – Netherlands Cyber Security School (SANCS) is excited to announce that we will be partnering with Hunt & Hackett for SANCS 25!
Hunt & Hackett will present an engaging challenge for students to tackle collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, allowing them to apply their knowledge from the lecture period into practice. The challenge will be available on the SANCS website soon.
Hunt & Hackett is a leading cyber security company in The Netherlands and SANCS25 will also feature their expert Tom Moester who will present a digital threat analysis for the upcoming NATO summit in The Hague. Hunt & Hackett’s mission is to make customers resilient to any kind of cyber threat, and in particular to those from sophisticated APT groups. To this end, Hunt & Hackett uses a threat modeling-based approach, in which Hunt & Hackett’s specialists monitor APT groups, analyse applied attack methods. This knowledge and information position forms the basis on which Hunt & Hackett develops innovative detection and response solutions and provides prevention, detection and response services that enable organizations to protect themselves against these attack groups and methods.
The Southern Africa – Netherlands Cyber Security School is an online, free-of-charge, international cybersecurity school organised by HCSS – The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies and Stellenbosch University, sponsored by the Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken of the Netherlands and the Netherlands Embassy and Consulate in South Africa for students and young to mid-career professionals interested in cybersecurity matters.
