Perceptions about Ukraine

February 17th 2017 - 16:55

In April last year the Netherlands held a referendum on the Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine. Unfortunately for Ukraine just over 30% of the Dutch who took part in the referendum voted against the ratification of the Agreement. Since then the Dutch government suspended the process of ratification of the Agreement.

Ukrainian Newspaper 'Day' interviewed several experts, including Sijbren de Jong, on the public perception of Ukraine in The Netherlands. The full article (in Ukrainian) can be read here.
