On January 28, 2020, the Air Defense – Command (ADC) frigate Zr. Mrs. De Ruyter left Den Helder for the Strait of Hormuz ‘to strengthen maritime security in the Gulf region’. This final evaluation is aimed at assessing the extent to which the objectives of the Dutch contribution to EMASOH have been achieved and how the military and diplomatic capacities have been deployed have contributed to it.
