Patrick Bolder bij de J.E.D.I. Workshop

De Universiteiten van Bologna, Stockholm en Groningen voeren in opdracht van de Europese Investeringsbank een driejarig onderzoeksprogramma uit, Joint Effort for the Defence Industry (J.E.D.I.), over de evolutie van de Europese defensiemarkt en het verschijnsel van ‘Technology Transfer’ wat hiermee samenhangt.

Als afsluiting van het eerste jaar werd een derde J.E.D.I. workshop (na Bologna in september dit jaar en Stockholm begin oktober) in Den Haag georganiseerd met als genodigden vertegenwoordigers van enkele Nederlandse bedrijven die actief zijn op de defensiemarkt en onder de NIDV zijn georganiseerd.

Namens The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies gaf Strategisch Analist Patrick Bolder de presentatie “Reflections and observations on EDA and the European Defence Market”, over zijn ervaringen met de EU en het EDA en zijn visie op de verdere ontwikkeling hiervan, als inleiding van een dag aan discussies.
