Ravi Bhatiani is a non-resident Strategic Advisor in Energy, Stockpiling, Sanctions, M&A and Strategic Preparedness at HCSS.

With 17 + years of experience in EU affairs, competition policy, and strategic advisory, Ravi has advised senior executives, investors, and top level policymakers through geopolitical, regulatory, and investment challenges at important moments.

Ravi has shaped critical policies on energy security and stockpiling (e.g., strategic reserves, LNG infrastructure, crisis preparedness), and has advised on sanctions policy and trajectories (in particular conflict risks and related restrictions).

He has wide experience in M&A and strategic investment (advising on divestitures, developing investment thesis, assessing risk based time horizons and trading strategies amid trade wars, FDI screening, and supply chain resilience concerns).

As leader of pan-European trade body FETSA – The Federation of European Tank Storage Associations, Ravi has directed high-level advocacy with the European Commission, IEA, NATO, and key embassies, combining deep EU policy and process knowledge with commercial realities. 

Ravi is also on the strategic advisory board of Gizil GmbH.
