Impact of Emerging Technologies on Strategic Stability in the Indo-Pacific
How are emerging technologies reshaping strategic stability in the Indo-Pacific? And how can the Republic of Korea and the Netherlands strengthen cooperation in response?
Join us on Thursday, 15 October 2026 in The Hague for the ROK-NL Think-Tank Dialogue on the Indo-Pacific, bringing together experts from Korea and the Netherlands to discuss defence policy, emerging technologies and opportunities for closer bilateral cooperation.
The programme will feature two expert panels covering:
- Key policies for strategic stability, including Korean and Dutch defence industry strategies and ROK-NL cooperation on AI for military purposes.
- Key technologies for strategic stability, including cybersecurity, military shipbuilding, unmanned aerial systems and batteries for military use.
The event, co-organised with the Korean Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP), will conclude with networking drinks, providing an opportunity to exchange ideas and connect with fellow experts and professionals working on security, defence, technology and economic security.
