Glib is a research fellow at the The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies since January 2021. Glib has an M.A. from Donetsk National University in International Relations and a Joint M.A. degree from the University of Glasgow, Dublin City University, and Charles University in International Security, Intelligence, and Strategy. Prior to joining HCSS, he worked as a visiting researcher in violence-affected communities in South Africa (Safety and Violence Initiative) and as an analyst on the conflict in eastern Ukraine (Center for International Security). Glib currently focuses on the interplay between organized violence, identity, and power with humanitarian work in eastern Ukraine (ICLA Technical Officer/Norwegian Refugee Council), guiding humanitarian work by academic expertise and supplementing the scope of humanitarian knowledge through critical reflection on practice.
